Unsure about changing the LED rollers?
Here you will find brief instructions on how best to change the rollers without damaging anything: 1️⃣ Tools: You only need the appropriate Allen key. If the bolts are very tight, a little WD-40 or slight heating of the axle connection (e.g. with a normal hairdryer) will help.
2️⃣ Loosen the screws: The screws are factory-fitted with threadlocker (Loctite) so that they do not come loose when riding. This is why they are often quite tight the first time. Turn them slowly counter-clockwise, applying even pressure - not jerkily, so as not to damage the bolt head.
3️⃣ Pull off the rollers: Once the screw has been loosened, you can remove the roller. It may initially sit quite tightly on the axle - this is normal. It is best to pull it off by wiggling and turning it slightly, not just pulling it straight. If the rollers are very tight, a rubber mallet may also help to avoid damaging them.
4️⃣ Fit new rollers: Clean the axle shortly after removing it and, if necessary, use a little WD-40 to make it easier to fit the new rollers. Simply put the new rollers back on, screw in the screw (clockwise) and tighten well - but do not overtighten.
5️⃣ Check function: Finally, briefly check that the rollers run freely and that everything is stable - then the JetRoll™ is ready to go again.
